Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004-LEOSA; (A.K.A. H.R. 218):

Chapter 44 of Title 18, United States Code: Section 926C.

Carrying of concealed firearms by qualified retired law enforcement officers;

(5) “During the most recent 12-month period, has met, at the expense of the individual, the State’s standards for training and qualification for active law enforcement officers to carry firearms;”

This course meets all the requirements of Title 18, USC: Section 926B&C. To re-qualify active & retired Law Enforcement officers; local, state, and federal.

Instructors are Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) certified same standards as Learning Domain 35 (PC832) with slight modification.

Course of fire is 36 rounds; bring more if you want to do other training.

The student is required to tactically load and reload the handgun using the loading device they bring and successfully clear any malfunctions that may occur during the course of fire.

Student must bring their LEO identification card and State ID/DL. Student is responsible for course fee ($50), range fee ($15), and their ammunition. Targets, eye protection and ear protection are provided.

BSIS Qualifications

**Student MUST bring a copy of their proof of citizenship**

Unless you have previously contacted CORE and we determined your proof is already on our file, we required proof of Citizenship (U.S. Passport, Birth Certificate, U.S. DD 214 (for Military), Certificate of Naturalization or Permanent Residency Card.

Students must bring their BSIS guard registration card and BSIS exposed firearm card.

If this is student’s fourth (4th) and last requalification, the student must take a written exam.

Student is responsible for course fee ($50), range fee ($15), and their ammunition; 50 rounds each caliber, and their own weapon. 

If student needs to rent a weapon, we can provide for a fee of $10.

Targets, eye protection and ear protection are provided.

CCW Permit Holders Re-qualifications

Please bring your Valid California identification (ID/CDL), CCW permit, all Firearm(s) that you want listed on your permit. Please bring all necessary firearms/ calibers that you will be re-qualifying with. Minimum of 40 rounds per weapon, more if you want to do additional shooting.

Re-qualifications for CCW Permit Holder for the following Counties/Jurisdictions: Alameda County, San Joaquin County, Placer County, Sacramento County, El Dorado County, Yuba County and other jurisdictions. (Please give us a call if your County or Jurisdiction is not listed. We will be happy to help you out.)
